Scythe Kaze Master 5.25"
Kaze Master 5.25" Features
The first thing you'll notice about the Scythe Kaze Master is the incredible finish. It is easily the most mirrored computer part I've ever seen. While this will attract finger prints from miles around, it's worth it. Chrome looks good with just about everything. If you're not a chrome person, this same controller is available in a gloss black as well, as we saw with the Kaze Master 3.5".
The knobs on this fan controller feel very secure. They are only 1/2" long which allow this fan controller to fit under most, if not all front panel doors. This fan controller is also capable of turning fans to the point where they are completely off which is a great feature to have. The RPM sensor will read OFF in this case. The LED display lights (which you'll see later) are very bright and easily readable. They will add a lot of flash to your case while remaining sleek.
The controller comes with 6 fan sensors, yet allows 4. I assume this is in case some decide to stop working or break. The sensor itself is very fragile and it's nice to have a few backups, I've gone through 2 sensors in under a year with other units. You can see how fragile the sensor is below.

Another great feature is the temperature jumper found on the back of this unit. Jumping pins 1-2 will show a ºc on the front panel of the controller while jumping pins 2-3 will show a ºf on the front panel. This feature allows users from all around the world to view case temperatures however they like. This was one of my main concerns when I first looked at the unit; I was pleasantly surprised to find this jumper.
Additionally, the Kaze Master includes a beep speaker. This beeper will sound if a temperature sensor fails or if case temp exceeds 75ºc. I can't see a case getting to temperatures of 75ºc in any situation, but I guess anything is possible. A lower temperature threshold, or ideally an adjustable temperature threshold would be nice features. If you're not a fan of the speaker, there is also a jumper to prevent the speaker from beeping. This jumper is seen below and to the right of the speaker.
